The Nation's Weather for Thursday, March 3, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Much of the nation is expected to be quiet tomorrow, with
only a few exceptions. A swath of light snow is forecast to
stretch from central North Dakota to west-central Minnesota.
On the southwestern side of the precipitation, a mix of
snow, sleet and freezing rain could fall from northeastern
Montana to north-central Iowa. Precipitation will continue
in the Pacific Northwest, although it should be lighter than
in recent days. Cooler air will allow some snow to return to
the mountains, with rain showers in the lower elevations.
The rain will also expand southward along the coast of
California, potentially reaching as far south as Point
Conception and Ventura by late in the day. A sunny day and
building warmth will be found across the Southeast.
