NATIONAL SUMMARY
The latest in a stream of storms will continue to push
onshore in the Pacific Northwest tomorrow, bringing rain
along the coast from Washington into Northern California.
Snow, some heavy at times, will pile up through the
Cascades, with widespread high-elevation snow showers
stretching across the Intermountain West from Idaho as far
south and east as New Mexico. Farther east, an advancing
storm will bring a narrow strip of accumulating snow from
northeastern Kansas across central Lower Michigan, with rain
extending south and east of that zone from the Northeast to
the Tennessee Valley and the mid-Atlantic. In the Southeast,
showers and some thunderstorms will soak the Gulf Coast
states, and some downpours can be expected in places such as
