NATIONAL SUMMARY
An intense area of low pressure will linger off the New
England coast tomorrow, with snow ongoing during the morning
hours. Snow will be steadiest and heaviest in the Green and
White Mountains, as well as much of Maine, with more
intermittent snow showers elsewhere in the Northeast. By
late afternoon and the evening hours, the storm is likely to
move farther offshore, bringing an end to the steady snow.
Another chilly morning and evening are in store across the
East, with temperatures in the 30s as far south as Florida,
and subfreezing temperatures in Georgia and Alabama.
Meanwhile, rain will be ongoing in Southern California, and
may be heavy at times during the morning before shifting
eastward into the Four Corners region.
