NATIONAL SUMMARY
Conditions will begin to deteriorate in the Northeast
tomorrow as a nor'easter develops offshore, with snow
shifting out of the Midwest and into the Northeast during
the day. Snow is likely to be heaviest in the higher
elevations of New York, including the Catskills and
Adirondacks. Rain is more likely along the coast, though
snow will begin to mix in toward New Hampshire and
Massachusetts by the end of the day. Winds will also turn
quite gusty, espcially in southern New England, where
damage and power outages will be possible. Meanwhile, a
new storm system will bring periods of rain to the
Pacific Northwest as well as Northern California, with
snow likely in the Cascades.
