NATIONAL SUMMARY
A widespread and disruptive storm will expand eastward from
the central Rockies and South Central states into the
eastern Great Lakes tomorrow. Arctic air is expected to
infiltrate the Central states as this storm advances. Heavy
snow will blanket the Plains, while a significant ice threat
will develop in a corridor from eastern Oklahoma to
northwestern Ohio. Showers will span across Texas and the
Gulf Coast states, with heavier rainfall developing across
the Ohio Valley. Significant travel delays and widespread
power outages can arise as the storm develops. Across the
Northwest, occasional rain and showers will pepper the
Oregon and Washington coastline. Snow showers will dot the
Cascades.
