NATIONAL SUMMARY
A large, intense storm system moving into the Plains
tomorrow will bring a broad range of hazards. From the
Colorado Rockies to the Upper Midwest, heavy snow is
expected, with accumulations of over 6 inches expected.
Nearby, just to the south, freezing rain will lead to
substantial ice accumulations. In the Southeast,
thunderstorms are expected, many of which will turn severe.
Torrential rainfall, damaging winds, hail and several
tornadoes are all possible. Severe thunderstorms are most
likely in Arkansas and northern Louisiana, but they can also
occur in surrounding areas. Meanwhile, another system will
move into the West Coast region, bringing rain from
Washington to Southern California.
