NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm will dive southeastward across the southern Plains
tomorrow, bringing snow and flurries to places from New
Mexico to northern Texas and western Oklahoma as cold air
settles into place. Showers and drizzle are also expected
just south of the snow in Texas. Frigid air will also spread
from the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley to the Northeast and
mid-Atlantic as localized flurries occur. The far Southeast
is expected to remain largely seasonable, with light showers
forecast across the Florida Peninsula. Elsewhere will be
mainly dry across the nation except for a bit of snow
creeping along the Canadian border in the northern Plains.
Overall, the Plains will be less chilly than previously and
fog will continue to haunt the Northwest as the Southwest
remains pleasant.
