NATIONAL SUMMARY
With a northward surge of warm and humid air from the Gulf
of Mexico, along with an intense jet stream aloft, weather
conditions will likely be set for numerous severe
thunderstorms tomorrow in portions of the lower Mississippi
Valley and the Gulf Coast. Several tornadoes will also be
possible, some of which could be especially hazardous and
occur after dark. These storms will be most likely from
central Louisiana to far western Kentucky, but could also
form as far north as southern Indiana. Meanwhile, a long
swath of accumulating snow will stretch from the Rockies to
the Great Lakes, impacting cities such as Denver and
Minneapolis. Substantial snow accumulations of over 6 inches
will be possible in some spots.
