People driving by the Maben Post Office might have slowed down a little as they passed by, as they might have seen some workers around the post office and across the street.
This was one of the many projects of the Maben Home and Garden Club, as it had a local landscape company make two new flowerbeds around the post office, which is located at the intersection of Water Street and Highway 15.
This will now complement the grounds around the post office, which are maintained by Tommy Phelps, a local person who keeps up the local post office and others, in addition to cemeteries and private yards.
This is only one of the many projects of the Maben Home and Garden Club, which is doing much work making the town more beautiful.
The people of Maben are thankful for this group, and other groups, that take their time to make many improvements to the beautification of Maben.
