Some Louisville residents were awakened last Wednesday morning to a FBI SWAT team arrest, but little information is known into the details of the arrest.
Residents reported hearing loud noises and shots, with some posting pictures on social media of the SWAT outside home. They stated the noises scared them and their children and they weren’t able to leave the area until the detainment was conducted.
When asked about the incident, FBI Jackson Division Public Affairs Specialist Marshay Lawson stated, “The FBI was conducting a court authorized law enforcement activity. There is one subject in custody, and I am unable to provide the name of the subject at this time. Additionally, to preserve the integrity and capabilities of the investigation, I cannot share details as this is an ongoing investigation. However, I can reassure your viewers (sic) that there is no information to suggest a public safety threat to the community.”
However, WTVA reported that Jared Hannah was court ordered to be detained, pending a federal trial.
WTVA reports that Hannah was indicted by a federal grand jury on two charges. The report stated that Hannah allegedly had a glock-style machine gun and that he had stolen firearms that crossed state line.
Hannah was slated to be arraigned on Monday.
