Choctaw County volleyball had another strong season last year, winning Class I Region 4 and reaching the second round of the playoffs. “The girls were very dedicated. They were willing to work really hard,” said coach Miranda Worrell. “Basically they were all in for the season. They started working on it long before there was time to play a ball game.” Choctaw County didn't just win the seven-team region, the Lady Chargers dominated by going 12-0 and winning 36 of 38 sets. Choctaw County defeated Senatobia 3-0 in the opening round of the playoffs, winning 25-22, 25-23, 25-20. It was straight sets, but it wasn't easy.
