The Noxapater Tigers opened up the baseball season with a pair of time-limit games last week.
The Tigers took a 9-1 win over Louisville and a 4-3 win over Choctaw Central.
Noxapater will return to play this week as they travel to West Lowndes on Friday in their only scheduled game.
Noxapater 9, Louisville 1
The Tigers used a seven-run inning and took an eight-run win over the Wildcats in a time-limit game on Tuesday.
Noxapater scored two in the first and seven in the second.
Noxapater had just two hits but took advantage of six errors and three walks. Luke Reynolds and Braxton Daughtery each singled and scored.
Bryton Yates pitched all three innings for Noxapater, going up two hits and three walks while striking out six.
Noxapater 4, Choctaw Central 3
The Tigers used a pair of two-run innings and took a one-run win over the Warriors on Thursday.
Noxapater scored two in the first and second innings to take an early lead while the Warriors scored all three of their runs in the fifth.
Noxapater outhit Choctaw 6-4 in the contest. Braxton Daughtery was 2-for-3 and scored a run while Zach Lloyd was 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Kaden Carter doubled and drove in two runs. Luke Sanborn had Noxapater’s other hit while Luke Reynolds and Brady Ellinson also scored.
Lloyd started on the mound and pitched four innings to pick up the win, scattering two hits and two walks without giving up a run and striking out six. Daughtery pitched the last inning and gave up three runs on two hits and a walk while striking out two.
