It was a rough week for the French Camp basketball teams.
The Lady Panthers dropped both games it played last week, falling 48-33 to Eupora and 51-24 to Sebastopol.
The Panthers didn’t fare much better, falling 45-31 to Eupora and 40-17 to Sebastopol.
French Camp will return to action this week as they play at East Webster on Monday and at Grace Christian on Friday.
Eupora girls 48, French Camp 33
The Lady Eagles pulled ahead in the first half and took a 15-point win over the Lady Panthers.
Eupora doubled up French Camp early, outscoring the Lady Panthers 14-7 in the first period. Eupora then took the second period 10-2 and led 24-9 at the half. The second half was even was each team scored 11 in the third and 13 in the fourth as Eupora held on to take the win.
Eupora boys 45, French Camp 31
The Eagles pulled away after the first period and took a 14-point win over the Panthers.
Each team scored eight points in the first period but Eupora outscored French Camp 16-10 in the second to lead 24-18 at the half. Eupora continued to extend its lead in the second half, outscoring the Panthers 11-5 in the third and 10-8 in the fourth.
Dylan Black led French Camp with 11 points while Andrew Bain had eight points. Aayden Ray also chipped in five points.
Sebastopol girls 51, French Camp 24
The Lady Bobcats grabbed their third win of the week as they rolled past the Lady Panthers on Saturday.
Sebastopol outscored French Camp in every period as they cruised to the win. The Lady Bobcats jumped out to a 15-3 lead in the first period and then outscored French Camp 10-5 in the second and led 25-8 at the half. Sebastopol continued to extend its lead in the second half, outscoring French Camp 12-8 in the third and 14-8 in the fourth.
Eden Box led French Camp with 14 points while Brianna Page had six points on a pair of 3-pointers.
Sebastopol boys 40, French Camp 17
The Bobcats outscored the Panthers in every period and took a 23-point win over the Panthers.
Sebastopol outscored French Camp 11-0 in the first and 11-7 in the second to lead 22-7 at the half. The Bobcats then outscored the Panthers 12-8 in the third and 6-2 in the fourth.
Aayden Ray led French Camp with six points. Dylan Black, Andrew Bain and Kevin Nyok each had three points apiece.
