The Noxapater Lady Tigers grabbed a big win last week, avenging their only loss of the season.
The Lady Tigers built an early lead and held on to take a 6-3 win over Class 5A West Point.
The Lady Tigers were scheduled to return to play this week as they host Louisville on Monday and play at Leake Central on Tuesday. They will play at Starkville on Friday

The Lady Tigers built a lead in the middle innings and held on to take a three-point win over the Lady Green Wave on Thursday.
Noxapater scored single runs in the third and fourth innings and then finished with four runs in the fifth inning. West Point scored three runs in the top of the seventh for the final margin.
West Point actually outhit Noxapater 7-3. Morgan Woods had three-run home run and scored twice for the Lady Tigers while Kenzie Harrell singled, scored and had an RBI. Emma Cremeen singled and drove in a run while Ayla Ryals walked and scored a run.
Woods started in the circle for the Lady Tigers, pitching all seven innings, giving up three runs, with only one being earned. She scattered seven hits and two walks while striking out 13 to pick up the win.
