The Noxapater Lady Tigers played one of their best games of the season last week in their only action.
Noxapater got a solid pitching performance from Morgan Woods, beating Ethel 10-2 and avenging a 16-0 loss from earlier this season.
Noxapater was scheduled to play at Scott Central on Monday to end the regular-season. The Lady Tigers will begin play in the Class 1A playoffs this week.

Noxapater pulled away with a big fifth inning and took an eight-run win over Ethel on Friday.
Noxapater scored three in the third, one in the fourth and six in the fifth while Ethel scored single runs in the fourth and fifth innings.
Noxapater had nine hits and drew eight walks. Jodie Wilkes was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs while Kenzie Harrell singled, walked twice and drove in two runs. Summer Meridith singled, walked twice and scored two runs while Emma Cremeen also singled and walked twice. Kaliyah Moore, Karlee Sullivan, Aliyah McCool and Saniya Holmes all singled and scored a run.
Morgan Woods started in the circle for Noxapater and pitched all seven innings, giving up two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out eight.
