The Noxapater Lady Tigers split a pair of games this past week on the hardwoods while the Tigers lost a pair of contest.
The Lady Tigers used a big first half as they took a 53-38 win over West Lowndes on Tuesday before dropping a 46-43 contest to Pelahatchie on Thursday.
The Tigers had a rough week on the courts as they fell 64-34 to West Lowndes and 72-40 to Pelahatchie.
Noxapater will return to play this week with a pair of home games as they host East Webster on Tuesday, Dec. 5 and Choctaw County on Friday. Dec. 8.
Noxapater girls 53, West Lowndes 38
The Lady Tigers built a big lead and cruised to a 15-point win over the Lady Panthers.
Noxapater dominated the first half as they raced out to a 33-7 lead at the half. Each team scored 11 points in the third period as Noxapater led 44-18 going to the fourth. West Lowndes battled back and outscored Noxapater 20-9 in the fourth for the final margin.
Kaliyah Moore led Noxapater with 20 points while Nadia Bates had 12 points. Morgan Woods had seven points and Jodie Wilkes added six points.
West Lowndes boys 64, Noxapater 34
The Panthers outscored the Tigers in every period and took a 30-point win.
West Lowndes jumped out to a 49-26 lead in the first half and then outscored Noxapater 9-7 in the third and 6-5 in the fourth to take the win.

Pelahatchie girls 46, Noxapater 43
The Lady Chiefs built an early lead and held on to take a three-point win over the Lady Tigers.
Pelahatchie led 8-4 at the end of the first period and then outscored Noxapater 16-9 in the second period to lead 24-13 at the half. Noxapater then outscored Pelahatchie 13-10 in the third and 17-12 in the fourth for the final margin.
Kaliyah Moore led Noxapater with 15 points while Taylor Hamilton and Morgan Woods each had eight points apiece. Nadia Bates also chipped in seven points.
Pelahatchie boys 72, Noxapater 40
The Chiefs started fast in each half and cruised to a 32-point win over the Tigers.
Pelahatchie jumped out to a 24-7 lead in the first period but Noxapater outscored the Chiefs 16-12 in the second to cut the lead to 36-23. Pelahatchie put the game away in the third period as they outscored Noxapater 28-9 in the third to extend the lead to 64-32. The Tigers took the fourth period 8-6 for the final margin.
