After knocking off Grace Christian for the first time in school history last week, the Lady Patriots of Winston Academy wanted to keep it rolling.
The night after beating the Lady Eagles, WA was right back to work and on the road at Tupelo Homeschool. It was another win for the Lady Pats as WA got a 3-2 victory.
The win was a back-and-forth affair for the two teams. WA won the first set 25-17, lost set two and set three 25-20 and 26-24, and came back to win set four 25-10. In set five, the Lady Pats rolled 15-6 and took home a second-straight win.
Analeigh Dempsey finished the match with an impressive 14 kills and one block while Braley Dickerson had 11 kills, five aces and a block. Layton Nowell finished with 10 kills, four digs, and two aces while Chloe Hillyer and Brooklyn Woods had eight kills each. Emma Grace Loper had 12 assists and three aces in the win while Julianna Sims finished with a season-high 21 assists and six aces.
The win improved the Lady Pats to 6-13, and they finished out the regular season on Tuesday night at Russell Academy.
