The French Camp softball team got in two games last week and split a pair of division contests.
The Lady Panthers beat McAdams 17-1 on Tuesday and then lost 12-1 to Ethel on Thursday.
French Camp was scheduled to finish out the regular season this week as they host McAdams on Monday and then play at East Webster on Tuesday.
French Camp 17, McAdams 1
The Lady Panthers scored 16 runs in the first inning and gook a run-rule win over the Lady Bulldogs on Tuesday.
McAdams scored one in the top of the first while French Camp scored 16 in the first and added one in the second.
French Camp had 15 hits, including nine extra base hits. Ansley Dew was 3-for-3 with two runs scored and three RBIs to lead the Lady Panthers. Julia Littlejohn was 2-for-2 with a home run and two runs scored while Baylee Henderson was 2-for-2 with a double and two runs scored. Riley Arrowood was 2-for-2 with a double, triple, three runs scored and two RBIs while Brianna Page was 2-for-2 with a double, triple, two runs scored and three RBIs. Rowan Baxter was 2-for-2 with a double and four RBIs. Bailey Collins walked twice and scored two runs while Koleigh Griffin singled and scored two runs. Avery Summers also tripled for the Lady Panthers.
Summers started in the circle and pitched all three innings, giving up one run on one walk while striking out seven.
Ethel 12, French Camp 1
The Lady Panthers managed only two hits in a run-rule loss to the Lady Tigers on Thursday.
French Camp scored one in the bottom of the first while Ethel scored four in the second, five in the third, two in the fourth and one in the fifth.
French Camp had only two hits and committed five errors. Ainsley Dew singled, walked twice and had an RBI while Aubree Ferguson also singled. Baylee Henderson walked and scored Noxapater’s only run.
Avery Summers pitched all five innings for French Camp and gave up 12 runs on nine hits and five walks while striking out two.
