The French Camp softball team only got in one game last week and dropped a district contest to rival Ethel.
The Lady Panthers allowed just two hits but committed six errors and walked seven batters as the Lady Tigers took a 7-4 win on Tuesday.
Friday’s game against West Point got called after two innings.
The Lady Panthers are scheduled to return to action this week as they host McAdams on Tuesday and Ethel on Thursday in a pair of district games.
Ethel 7, French Camp 4
The Lady Tigers scored in six of the seven innings and took a three-run win over the Lady Panthers, despite getting outhit.
Ethel led 2-1 after three innings and scored two in the fourth and fifth innings. French Camp scored two in the fifth and added one in the seventh while Ethel added an insurance run in the sixth,
French Camp outhit Ethel 8-2 in the contest but committed six errors. Brianna Page was 3-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs while Baylee Henderson was 2-for-4 with a run scored, two stolen bases and two RBIs. Avery Summers singled and scored two runs.
Summers started in the circle and pitched all six innings, giving up seven runs with only two being earned She gave up two hits and seven walks while striking out six.
