The Lady Chargers volleyball team was back in action on Tuesday, August 30 as they took on the Water Valley Blue Devils.
The Lady Chargers went on a sweep against the Blue Devils at home in the Ty Cobb. In the first set, the Chargers narrowly surpassed the Lady Blue Devils with a 25-21 win. In the second set, the Lady Chargers again narrowly surpassed the Blue Devils with a 25-23 win. And in the third set, the Blue Devils were unable to force a game four, and the Chargers ended the set 25-15.
The Junior High Lady Chargers were also successful against the Blue Devils taking two sets, 25-10 and 25-13.
The Chargers are set to take on the Starkville Lady Yellow Jackets on Thursday, Sept. 8 before entering region play.
