"Perfect Pumpkins" by Jeff Bauer was our Halloween story at the Maben Public Library on Friday.
We learned how pumpkins are not alike. Some can weigh 1 pound while others can weigh 440 pounds. Some are tall, short, white, orange, lopsided or bumpy. Inside are seeds and pulp. The children thought the word pulp was funny.
We did dot markers for our pumpkin, sang Halloween songs, danced, had a Halloween party and played with Play-Doh. We all had lots of fun.
Friday we had Harley Beth Roper, Ila Ann Miles, Reese Phillips, Skyler and Stella Smith, Legend Allen and Tyler Kay Bates.
