CCCTC Students Are CPR Certified
Students that are enrolled in the Sports Medicine and Healthcare and Clinical Services Programs at Choctaw County Career and Technology Center recently had the opportunity to become CPR certified.
On Wednesday, October 27 and Thursday, October 28, 2021, students were honored to have Mr. John Hubbard as a guest speaker. Mr. Hubbard is a Panola County 1st responder and Sheriff’s deputy as well as a Farm Bureau Safety Specialist. He discussed and reviewed Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (CPR) skills and administered the exam for CPR to the students.
On Friday, October 29, Mrs. Kim Thomas, RN- Choctaw County Regional Medical Center Employee Health and Nurse Education, completed the Healthcare and Clinical Services and Sports Medicine Basic Life Support (CPR) Skills check off portion of the certification required for students to participate in job shadowing clinicals.
