Choctaw County Career and Technology Center instructors and students were excited to participate in the Annual Jack O' Lantern Jam on Saturday, October 23, 2021. Mrs. Ashley Fondren, the Culinary Arts instructor, along with her students sponsored the cake walk. Mrs. Fondren and her students prepared many of the baked items that were given as prizes. CCCTC would like to say a very special "THANK YOU" to the community members that donated baked items for the event!
Mr. Adam Berry, CCCTC Ag Power and Machinery Instructor, andhis students entered a scarecrow for the Scarecrow Trail. Students had a great time designing their scarecrow as they learned various welding skills.
Mrs. Nora Hammons, Health Science Core instructor, and her first year students, also participated in the Scarecrow Trail. The Health Science class created Patient Spongebob.
Mr. Robert Black and his Construction/ Carpentry students designed and constructed corn hole boards that were used as a game booth at the jam. Children as well as adults enjoyed this "challenge"!
Students representing other CTE programs also served as volunteers and assisted at the concession stands.
