This is October so we decided to learn about bats on Oct. 1 at the Maben Public Library.
Our story was "Bats: Creatures of the Night." We learned where they live, what they eat and the different sizes of them. They can be as big as a Canadian goose or as small as a bumblebee.
We did fingerprint paintings and learned about echolocation by playing a game blindfolding the kids and them finding their food by sound.
Friday we had Ian, Elisheva and Seth Barrett, Tyler Kay Bates, Harley Roper, Legend Allen, Stella Smith and Reese Phillips.
