Thadis Leon “Bo Diddly” Misso, 60, passed away at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS on October 21, 2021. His graveside service was held on Thursday, October 28 at 2:00 P.M. at Mohegan Cemetery (1273 Card Cemetery Rd Shuqualak, MS 39361) with Bro. Gerald Butler officiating. Cockrell Funeral Home was honored to be in charge of the service arrangements.
Thadis Leon Misso was born in Kemper County, Mississippi on June 21, 1961, to the late Thadis Red and Deloris Misso. He grew up in Kemper County and graduated from West Kemper High School. After graduation Leon entered the U.S. Air Force where he was a loadmaster serving on C-130 Hercules heavy-lift cargo aircraft. After his military service, he began driving an 18-wheeler and continued this profession for the rest of his life. Leon enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and boating.
Leon is survived by his daughter: Heather Misso of Louisville, MS and by his three sons: Jonathan Misso of Shuqualak, MS; Brooks Misso of Starkville, MS; and Cole Misso of Okanovan, Washington.
