Survivors include her father, Bubba Hughes; her mothers, Margaret Hughes; 1 daughter, JaQuasha Goss; 3 sons, LaKelvin Hughes, Jykevious Jones, Kelvin Welch, and Javious Goss; one sister, Christy Haynes; 4 brothers, Aaron Hughes, Reggie Haynes, Robert Haynes, and Adam Haynes; her grandmother, Earlean Haynes; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Porter died September 13 at her home.

He was born June 17, 1945, in Weir to the late Horace and Odie Mae Wills Higgins. His occupation was farming and truck driving. Mr. Higgins was a member of New Zion Baptist Church near Weir. He died Sept. 19, 2021, at his residence in Weir.
Survivors include a brother, Thomas Higgins of Weir; and a niece and nephew

Services for Janice Wells Hollingsworth, 71, of Eupora were Sept. 28, 2021, at Macedonia Baptist Church in Decatur with burial in the church cemetery.
She born June 24, 1950, in Choctaw County to the late Calton O. and Etoy Dean Wells. Her final place of employment was with Winston Medical Clinic in Louisville. Mrs. Hollingsworth was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She died Sept. 25, 2021, at Choctaw County Regional Medical Center, in Ackerman.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Hollingsworth of Eupora; a daughter, Susan Wells of Ackerman; a son, Randy Hollingsworth of Eupora; two sisters, Brenda Pearson of Eupora and Ann Coleman of Ackerman; Five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
