Services for Willie Faye Richards Box, 80, of Mathiston were Sept. 21, 2021, at Chester Baptist Church near Ackerman.
She was born Feb. 24, 1941, in Choctaw County to thee late Robert and Ada Ruth Jones Richards. Mrs. Box was a member of Chester Baptist Church. She died Sept. 18, 2021, at Brooklyn Hall Personal Care Home in Mathiston.
Survivors include a daughter, Teresa Shumaker of Ackerman; a son, Mark Box of Franklin, Tenn.; two sisters, Bobbie Ruth Craig and Myrtis Malone of Sturgis; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mark Box, Steven Flake, Wesley Gammill, Clint Mchan, Mike Pearson and Bill Shumaker.
Memorials may be made to the Choctaw County Food Pantry.

Services for Terry Dean Franks Sr., 62, of Sturgis were Sept. 19, 2021, at Friendship Baptist Church near Sturgis.
He was born Dec. 21, 1958, in Vardaman to the late J.D. and Margaret Sullivan Franks. Mr. Franks was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He died Sept. 15, 2021, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
Survivors include his wife, Audry Dalton Franks of Sturgis; a daughter, Anna Franks Jackson of Sturgis; a son, Terry Dean “T.J.” Franks, Jr. of Sturgis; five brothers, Stevie Franks of Union, Ricky Franks of Mathiston, Jimmy Franks and Donny Franks of Sturgis, and Tommy Sullivan of Starkville; two sisters, Sandra Scarbrough of Sturgis and Margo “Margie” Missigman of Georgetown, S.C.; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Derrick Franks, Jimmy Franks Jr., Rick Franks, Allen Martin, Billy Stricklin and B.J. Swindle,

Services for Ella Mae Herd, 78, of Maben were Sept. 18, 2021, at Grove Chapel M.B. Church in Maben with burial in Spring Valley Cemetery in Mathiston.
She was born May 6, 1943. Mrs. Herd died Sept. 11, 2021, in Tupelo.
Survivors include three children, Robert James Herd of Maben, Darren Lee Herd Sr. of Batesville and Sonja Chambers of Memphis, Tenn.; three sisters, Bonnie Townsend of Eupora, Josephine Shaw of Winona and Vernice Pass of Columbus; three brothers, Glenn Hughes and Thomas Hughes of Chicago, and Manville Hughes of Maben; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
West Memorial Funeral Home of Starkville was in charge of arrangements.
