Mrs. Helen Jenkins, 94, retired homemaker, died October 10, 2021, at North MS Medical Center LTCU in Eupora, MS. Funeral Services were held Noon Saturday October 16, 2021 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greensboro Cemetery in Webster County, MS. Rev. Don Parish officiated.
She was a longtime member of Tomnolen Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents; Clarence and Leola Tharp Sims, her husband; Billy Jenkins, son in law; James Raiford Abernathy, and four brothers; Dewey, James, Billy and Jessie Sims.
Mrs. Helen is survived by her daughter; Joan Jenkins Abernathy, Moss Point, MS, two grandchildren; Elesha (Tony) Garriga and Philip (Cherie) Abernathy, and three great grandchildren; Jake Garriga, Will Garriga and Austin Abernathy.
