A graveside memorial was held for Mrs. Genell Adkins Warren on Monday, November 1, 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Eupora with Brother Billy Michael Trull officiating.
Genell, 69, passed away in the St. Michael’s Hospital in Plover, Wisconsin, on October 1, 2021. She was born to parents, Alton, and Jettie Wilson Adkins on March 7, 1952.
Genell is survived by four children, Tim Jenkins, Lake, MS; Tony Brown, Pine Bluff, AR; Carrie Brown, Koscuisko, MS; Josh Leonhard, West Point, MS; and four grandchildren. Also, two sisters Eleanor (Jackie) Earnest, Slate Springs, MS; and Sue Adkins Guess, Eupora, MS; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alton, and Jettie Wilson Adkins. Her five brothers: J.B. Adkins, Thomas Adkins, Ray Adkins, James Terrell Adkins, and Maxie H. Adkins. Her five sisters: Genwa Williams, Mattie Leu Blaylock, Minnie Mae Carpenter, Elizabeth Brooks, and Margaret Ann Adkins.
