Ann Curry Love aka Maudine Holland, age 91, of Eupora, Mississippi went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, August 29, 2021.
She was born February 21, 1930 to Obie and Jennie Bell Harden Holland in Mantee, Mississippi. At the age of 21, she was legally adopted by her Great Uncle and Great Aunt, Dr. William Hugh Curry. and Annie Kimbriel Curry, who had raised her from the time of her birth.
She was married to Melvin Loyd Love (deceased) for 36 years. Mama, Ma, Mother Bear, “Mama Ann”, “Mama Ann The Great”, and “Aunt Ann”, as she is called by her loving family, spent her whole life loving and caring for everyone she knew.
She is greatly missed by all of us here on earth, but we know she is now rejoicing with her Father in Heaven.
She is survived by one brother, Phil Holland of New Bern, North Carolina; her four children, one son, William Loyd Love (Caroline) of Eupora, Mississippi; three daughters, Pamela Ann (John) Uribarri, of Deming, New Mexico, Patricia Ann (Love) Holt (Douglas) of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Gail Hester (Love) Burnett (David) of Mountain View, Arkansas; and a multitude of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Obie and Jennie Bell Harden Holland, and Dr. William Hugh Curry and Annie Kimbriel Curry; her brothers David Franklin Holland, Basil Holland, Hardin Holland, Joe B. Holland, Jim Curry, Robert Curry, Dr. Hugh Kimbriel Curry; and her sisters, infant twin sister Pauline Holland, Juanita Holland, Mary Lou (Curry) Simpson, and Earline (Holland) Mousseau.
Pallbearers were Douglas Holt, Jason Love, Spencer Love, Joseph Burnett, Benjamin Burnett, and David Burnett.
Funeral services were provided by Oliver Funeral Home and interment is at Eupora Cemetery.
