Blondie Sue (Tappy) Livingston Reed, 83,
passed away on September 16, 2021, at her
residence in Louisville, MS. She was a retired
lab technician for Seed Technology at
Mississippi State University, where she
worked for 30 years. She was a member of
Betheden Lutheran Church and enjoyed gardening,
cooking, and sewing. She was a very
loving and giving person.
She was preceded in death by her parents,
Bill Halbert Livingston and Clara Miller Livingston;
and her husband, Curtis Lee Reed.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda
Ricks (Vernon) of Greenwood, MS; grandchildren,
Nicholas Ricks (Heather) of Corydon,
IN and Bradley Ricks (Anita) of Greenwood,
MS; great grandchildren, Henry, Clara &
Vanya; sisters, Junie Fuller, Shirley Livingston,
and Gail Harrelson; and a host of
nieces and nephews.
Visitation was scheduled for Saturday, September
18, 2021, from 11:00-12:00 p.m. at
Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS, with
the graveside service following at 1:00 p.m.
at Betheden Lutheran Church in Louisville,
MS. Rev. Stacy Parvin conducted the service.
Burial was in Betheden Cemetery in
Louisville.
