As the daughter of former residents, Clifton ‘Little Man’ and Georgia Culberson Eichelberger, Lorita Eichelberger graduated from Louisiana State University A & M (LSU), Baton Rouge, LA. She was born in Oakland, California and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She attended Spellman College, Atlanta, GA where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics in December 2014. The following semester she enrolled in graduate school and received her Master’s of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction in August 2017, Educational Specialist degree in May 2020, and Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership degree in December 2020 from Louisiana State University A&M. While attending graduate school, Lorita became a certified teacher to teach secondary level mathematics in the state of Louisiana. Presently, she teaches Algebra 1 at Belaire High School, Baton Rouge. She plans to become an education consultant and open up several youth group homes.
She is the daughter of Clifton and Georgia Culberson Eichelberger, granddaughter of deceased Lola Culberson, George Harrington, deceased Betsy Ann and William James Eichelberger.
