Spring Beautification Day will be held at Dean Park, HWY 15 South, on Saturday, March 14, 2020, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
This event is sponsored by the Buffalo Soldiers, Wee Care and Friends of Dean Park, Inc. The following groups are ask to participate: 4-H Clubs, the Modern Woodmen of America Youth Service Club, Boys and Girls Scouts, church youth groups, Winston County Master Gardeners Association, garden clubs, Black Girls Read, the Wildcats and other students or adults to participate.
Volunteers can help plant, rake leaves and pine cones, weed, prune, fertilize and spruce up the park. Community Service hours are available for students’ scholarships and college applications and for master gardeners’ recertification.
