North Mississippi Medical Center–Eupora is extending the deadline for Health Career Scholarship applications to April 30.
The annual scholarships are awarded through the Health Care Foundation of North Mississippi. Applicants are judged on ACT score, high school transcript, curriculum taken as it pertains to the chosen field, extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation and their personal statements.
NMMC-Eupora annually awards two $1,000 Health Career Scholarships along with the $1,000 Harold H. Whitaker Educational Scholarship. This scholarship was established to recognize Harold Whitaker, Eupora Health Services board member and former long-time hospital administrator.
