Trotter, accompanied by their little son Powell, spent Sunday with relatives in Eupora. - Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Harvey, accompanied by their little daughter Bessie, spent Sunday with relatives at Eupora. - Miss Mayze of New Albany is visiting her brother F. B. Mayze who is now agent at the N. O. M. & C. Depot. R. C. Crow and family of Maben visited Mr. and Mrs. Fred Baily and Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Ricks Wednesday. - The temperance program rendered at the Baptist Church Sunday night proved to be a success in every respect and was enjoyed by many. - Mrs. Phillips, who has been suffering from rheumatism for some months, was brought to the home of her sister, Mrs. W. S. Harvey. - O. C. Fondren has moved from the southern part to the northern part of town. - Mrs. G. W. Dudley of Iuka is a pleasant guest in the home of Rev. Charley Dobbs. N. Montgomery. - Mesdames Lila Adams and Allie Greene attended services here Sunday. - Misses Lila and Letha Harrell are visiting their brother J. C. Harrell. - Mrs. Bettie Carroll left Thursday to visit relatives at Mathiston. - Miss Hassie Cotton is visiting Mrs. Emma Sikes. - Revs. Bob and Bess Wallace left Monday for Baltimore, where they will attend the Southern Baptist Convention. They will visit the city of Washington before returning. John Hutchinson, Sr. of Macedonia attended church here Sunday. - Mr. and Mrs. Dan Hunt were among the Sunday visitors. - Mark Richardson, of Macon, spent Saturday in the home of his uncle James Bevill, while en route to High Point to visit his parents. - A number of our townsmen are attending court at Starkville this week. SELF CREEK NEWS [By Daisy]: We are again glad to see the weather so favorable for the farmers and we wish them greater success this year. - Jack Azwell, one of our promising young men, made a business trip to Maben on Saturday. - Miss Pellum, one of our attractive young ladies, is on the sick list this week, but we hope for her a speedy recovery. - Mrs. Pearl Phelps visited in the home of her mother last week. - H. D. Neely reports a delightful trip to the reunion at Mobile and also to Cuba, where he saw many interesting things. Hope he won’t turn tourist like Teddy. - Misses Belle and Ola Lewis visited their sister Saturday night.
