At approximately 3:17 am, Wednesday, March 31, officers of Louisville Police Dept. responded to the report of a shooting at Winston Plywood & Veneer.
Upon arrival the officers found that Hassan D. Jordan, 23, of Macon, had been shot in the upper torso. Timothy C. Hemphill, 31, of Starkville, was placed under arrest for the shooting which took place in an outside smoking area.
Both subjects were transported to Winston Medical Center by ambulance; Jordan was treated and released. After release, Hemphill was transported to Winston-Choctaw County Regional Correctional Facility where he was awaiting an initial appearance before Judge David Wilson, in Louisville Municipal Court to determine the amount of a bond on a charge of aggravated assault.
The investigation of this incident is still ongoing by the Louisville Police Department.
