WALTHALL — Eleven defendants were arraigned in May in Webster County Circuit Court. They were indicted on felony charges by the grand jury that was recalled May 19. These defendants subsequently entered pleas of not guilty to the respective charges before Circuit Judge Joseph Loper Jr., who set or denied bond and appointed counsel if indigent: • State inmate Dontarious Vontae “Man Man” Davis, armed robbery-two counts, kidnapping-two counts and possession of a firearm by a felon. The robber then demanded the clerk take him to the Regions Bank branch just down the street in her vehicle and withdraw cash from the ATM. He fled on foot afterwards. Davis, 23, was arrested the following night in connection with the crimes and was later transported to the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility in Rankin County.
