Alfa Insurance Agent Chris Coleman, of Alfa Insurance in Kosciusko, MS was recently honored with the 2019 Distinguished Service-Silver Award for Mississippi during the company’s annual awards ceremony held in Montgomery, AL.
The ceremony, held February 18 at the Montgomery Performing Arts Center, recognized the company’s best agents and managers for their dedicated service and commitment to policyholders.
This is the second consecutive year that Coleman has been recognized with the award.

Chris began his career with Alfa Insurance in 2016 as an associate agent in Ackerman, MS. He then acquired his agency in Kosciusko, MS in December 2017 where he represents the company’s full line of auto, home, life and commercial insurance. He is married to the former Courtney McDonald of Weir, MS and together they have two children: Tyson, 16, and Marlee, 12. Chris and his family still reside in his hometown of Ackerman, MS, where they are active members of Enon Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He is also co-owner, with his father, of Coleman Funeral Home, and has served two terms as Post 2 Constable for Choctaw County, MS.
