The Winston County Board of Supervisors voted to rehire all county employees during its first meeting of the year on Monday, Jan. 4.
All county employees were rehired at the same rate of compensation as budgeted for the 2020-21 fiscal year.
Another motion authorized and named Luke Parkes as board President and to sign on behalf of the county to enter into contracts.
Burr Warner was named Vcie President.
Hugh Hathorn was rehired as board attorney.

In other business Monday, the board approved motions to:
• Accept a donation of $10,000 from the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians. (See related article in today’s edition).
