If the lower rate is not received, each person should contact their insurance agent.
“I would like to thank everyone for all the hard work that was put forth to make this happen.,” said Randal Livingston, Betheden Fire Chief.
Livingston added that the Betheden Fire Department is checking into establishing two other substations in the area to cover all homes within the fire district.
As part of the certification, each truck must have 1,200 feet of 2 1/2 inch diameter hose and 400 feet of 1 1/2 inch diameter hose.
The volunteer firefighters spent Saturday, March 14 pressure checking all hoses. The checks are done at least each year.
