At a regular monthly meeting of the Louisville Municipal School District Board, held Tuesday, November 8, Board members received benchmark data from the principals of all schools within the district. The data showed the need for improvement, but the schools are ahead of their placement from this time last year. Superintendent David Luke told the Board to look at the data as if this was the first quarter of a football game, adding they may not be leading right now, but they will be by the end of the game. In other action, the Board: •Voted 5-0 to approve the Consent Agenda, which included: •Approval of minutes of the Oct. 11, 2022, regular meeting. •Approval to remove items from fixed assets. •Approval of individuals to be added to substitute lists. •Approval of donations. •Approval of staff resignations. •Approval of staff recommendations. •Voted 5-0 to approve Financial Reports, including: •Claims Docket and the October 2022 Agency/Activity fund checks. •October 2022 bank balances and financial reports. •Voted 5-0 for approval of Data Sharing Addendum Between LMSD and BrightBytes, Inc. •Voted 5-0 to approve the following Sixteenth-Section measures: •Pasture bid on 66 acres on 16-14-13 (McBrayer Road) to Moody Farms at $15/acre. •Pasture bid on 5 acres on 16-14-12 (Ellison Ridge) to Clifton Hayes at $13/acre. •Amend a 38-acre pasture lease and a one-acre recreational lease with a change in the leaseholder from Jimmy Diane Thompson to Doug Gregory. •Voted 5-0 to set the date of the next meeting for Tuesday, December 13, at 5:30 p.m.
