Eupora Elementary School second- through fourth-grade SHAPE students enjoyed a field trip to the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum and the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum in Jackson on Nov. 12.
They were able to see farming processes from days gone by, woodworkers demonstrating how to use a sawmill, blacksmiths and old-timey water pumps.
They also observed artifacts from schools, homes, farms and doctors' offices that were once used in Mississippi.
The students played interactive, virtual games and learned more about the history of sports in our state while touring the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum.
