Services for Nancy Ruth Atkinson Henson, 89, of Ackerman were Dec. 28, 2021, at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman with the Rev. Scott Broughton, the Rev. Doug Atkinson and Ronny Prewitt officiating. Burial followed at Enon Cemetery in Ackerman.
She was born Aug. 1, 1932, in Choctaw County, Ala., to the late William E. and Elvie Alford Atkinson. Mrs. Henson was a retired business owner. She died Dec. 23, 2021, at Choctaw County Medical Center in Ackerman.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Diane Rhyne of Ackerman; one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.

Jeffery Jackquet Cork
Funeral services for Jeffery Jackquet Cork, 36, were held at 11 a.m., December 18 at Beck Funeral Home in Weir. Elder Ronald Lundell officiated. Burial followed in the Enon Cemetery.
Mr. Cork died December 9 in Hinds County.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Cork; his father, David McNeal; his step-father, Douglas Brown; his mother, Jacqueline Brown; 2 daughters, Shetela Cork and Vanity Cork; 1 son, Zachariah Cork; 2 step-sons, Akuria Margaretta and Jalarium Lemetris; 4 sisters, Shana Patterson, Diona McNeal, Rochelle Cork Watson; 2 brothers, Costeal McNeal and D’Angelo McNeal; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Jimmie Young, Jr., 85. were held at 1 p.m., December 19 at Center Hill COGIC. Elder Clifton Haynes officiated. Burial followed in the Center Hill cemetery.
Mr. Young died at his home on December 13.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel Lee Young; 4 daughters, Shirley Weeden, Geraldine Johnson, Joyce Hoskins, and Demetrice Cheatham; 2 sons, Elder Tonino Young and Terrion Young; 1 sisters, Nancy Harris; 38 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 6 great, great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Annie K. Beasley Henley, 65, were held at 1 p.m., December 24 at Louisville Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Cedric Wooten officiated.
Mrs. Henley died December 21 at her home.
