Amanda Lee Newland Coslet, 46, of Eupora died Jan. 25, 2022, in Webster County.
Born Sept. 17, 1975, she was a disabled homemaker.
Survivors include her children, Katie Ann Coslet and Joe Lewis Coslet Jr.; her parents, Galen and Nancy Newland; and one brother, Daniel Scott Newland.

Services for Michael Loyd Shurden, 66, of Mathiston were Feb. 12, 2022, at Blythe Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Todd Chesser officiating.
He was born Nov. 24, 1955, in Maben to Oscar Loyd and Dorothy Jean Fulgham Shurden. Mr. Shurden was employed approximately 40 years with Babcock-Wilcox as a welder and was a member of Blythe Creek Baptist Church in Mathiston, where he served as Sunday School director. He died Feb. 9, 2022, at Anderson Hospital in Meridian.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Grantham Shurden of Mathiston; his parents, Oscar Loyd and Dorothy Jean Shurden of Mathiston; one son, Michael Shurden of Mathison; one daughter, Brandi Fiebig of Mathiston; one brother, Randy Shurden of Byram; one sister, Sandra Williams of Mathiston; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Michael Box, Clayton Dodd, Kendale Durham, John Grantham, Shane Grantham and John Randall Shurden.

Coleman Funeral Home of Mathiston was in charge of arrangements.
