Services for Elwyn Aline Ballard, 90, of Eupora were Dec. 27, 2021, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Eupora with Wyatt Harvey officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
She was born Jan. 8, 1931, in Copiah County to the late Everett and Lela Gillis Templeton. Mrs. Ballard was a retired factory employee. She died Dec. 25, 2021, at North Mississippi Medical Center-Eupora’s Long Term Care.
Survivors include two daughters, Gail Maddox of Eupora and Lynn Ray of Ackerman; one brother, Cecil Templeton; two sisters, Diana Martin and Margaret Hart; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Mt. Pisgah Cemetery Fund.

Graveside services for Annette Mhoon Spencer, 80, were Dec. 30, 2021, at Double Springs M.B. Church Cemetery in Slate Springs.
She died Dec. 26, 2021, at her residence in Bellefontaine.
Montgomery Mortuary of Houston was in charge of arrangements.
Joycie Triplett
Funeral services for Joycie Triplett, 73, were held at 11 a.m., December 30 at Friendship MB Church. Dr. Benjamin Pittman officiated. Burial followed in the Louisville Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Triplett died December 23 at the Regency Hospital in Meridian.
Survivors include her husband, Willie Gene Triplett; 2 sons, Terrence Triplett and Keafer Triplett; 3 sisters, Mildred Walker, Juanita Gibson, Antique Givson and Mary Charles Givson; 2 brothers, Laverne Walker and Ike Gibson; 3 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Marion McQueen, Jr.
Funeral services for Marion McQueen, Jr., 82, were held at 11 a.m., December 31 at Union Chapel MB Church cemetery. Dr. A.E. Cotton officiated.
Marion died December 27 at the Winston County Nursing Home.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Yarbrough McQueen; 3 daughters, Sandra Hickman, Sherrie McQueen, and Angela Evasn; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 6 step children; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Thomas D. Coleman, Jr., 86, were held at 2 p.m., January 2 at Pleasant Grove UM Church. Rev. Marty Boyd and Rev. Roosevelt Gage officiated. Burial followed in the Church cemetery.
Mr. Coleman died December 28 at his home.
Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Edmond; 1 grandchild; 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
