Funeral Services were held 11:00 AM Thursday December 9,2021 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Eupora Cemetery. Bro. Martin "Shorty" Carden officiated. Pallbearers were; Matt and Josh Johnson, Shane Box, David and Benny Carwyle and Barry Whitt.
Mr. Paul is survived by three daughters; Paulette Box, Eupora, MS, June (Gayden) Johnson Caledonia, MS, Mary Lee (Phillip) Johnson, Eupora, MS, sister-in-law; Jimmie Lee Whitt, brother-in-law; James Carwyle, and seven grandchildren; Shane Box Josh (Amanda) Johnson, Megan Johnson, Matt Johnson, Stephanie Brooks, Tony (Jennifer) Brooks, Nettie (Phillip) McMasters and Tammy Carver. He was preceded in death by his parents; Johnnie and Allie Whitt, his wife; Rudell Whitt, his brother; Jimmy Whitt, two sisters; Carolyn Carwyle, June Whitt and son; Roy Brooks.
Paul grew up in Grady where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. For many years he enjoyed planting a garden. Out of all the things he planted, sunflowers were always his favorite. He loved his church, Calvary Baptist and all the church family that he grew to know over the years. Paul was a kind and loving father to his three daughters. His grandchildren could always depend on their "Papa" to share peppermints that he kept in his pocket. The memories, laughter and love will always be cherished by his entire family.
