Funeral services for Mr. Edward Monroe Henning, of Winona, was held Thursday, June 24, 2021, at 2:00 pm in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the Mission Baptist Church Cemetery in Winona. Visitation was from noon until service time at the funeral home. Rev. Billy Little officiated the service. Pallbearers were Warren Henning, Travis Henning, Billy Carson, Patrick Carson, Michael Noah and Eddye Threet.
Mr. Henning, 77, passed away at the Vaiden Community Living Center on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. He was born January 3, 1944, to James and Mavis Grantham Henning. He attended French Camp school and was a retired factory worker. He was of Presbyterian faith.
Mr. Henning was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Jean Wills, Arlene Pearson, Ruth Gregg, Lillian Suber, and Gwen Richardson; and brothers, Cecil Henning, and Barney Henning.
Mr. Henning is survived by his sisters, Peggy Reed and Patsy Barton (Harold) of Winona; brothers, Richard Henning of French Camp and Thomas Henning (Linda) of Winona; sister-in-law, Barbara Henning; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mission Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 31 Pink Flowers Road, Winona, MS 38967.
