The Warriors opened up the Division 5-2A Tournament with a 36-33 win over Lake. They followed with an 89-32 loss to Newton and 48-34 loss to Philadelphia to finish fourth in the division.
The Lady Warriors dropped a 66-24 decision to Philadelphia to end their season.
Nanih Waiya was scheduled to travel to Velma Jackson on Tuesday to open the first round of the Class 2A playoffs.
Nanih Waiya boys 36, Lake 33
The Warriors finished strong as they eliminated the Hornets with a three-point win.
Nanih Waiya led 9-6 at the end of the first period and 15-13 at the half. Lake then outscored Nanih Waiya 17-11 in the third and took a 30-26 lead into the fourth. Nanih Waiya then outscored Lake 10-3 in the fourth to take the win.
Hagan Halfacre led Nanih Waiya with 11 points while Peyton Prewitt had 10 points. Rico Moore added five points for the Warriors.
Newton boys 89, Nanih Waiya 32
The Tigers used a stead supply of offense as they ran away with a 57-point win over the Warriors in the tournament semifinals.
Newton led 25-14 at the end of the first and then outscored Nanih Waiya 21-6 in the second to lead 46-20 at the half. Newton continued to extend its lead in the second half as they outscored the Warriors 22-9 in the third and 21-3 in the fourth.
Hagan Halfacre led Nanih Waiya with 14 points while Rico Moore had six points and Eli Stanton added five points.
Nanih Waiya boys 48, Philadelphia 34
The Tornadoes jumped out to an early lead and took a 14-point win in the consolation game on Friday as the Warriors finished fourth in Division 5-2A play.
Philly jumped out to a 15-5 lead in the first and outscored Nanih Waiya 15-13 in the second to lead 30-18 at the half. Nanih Waiya outscored Philly 11-8 in the third period to cut the lead to 38-29 but the Tornadoes took the fourth period 10-5 to take the win.
Rico Moore led Nanih Waiya with 12 points while Hagan Halfacre and Peyton Prewitt each had seven points apiece.
Philadelphia girls 66, Nanih Waiya 24
The Lady Tornadoes outscore the Lady Warriors in every period as they took a 42-point win.
Philadelphia led 11-4 at the end of the first and then outscored Nanih Waiya 22-13 in the second to lead 33-17 at the half. Philadelphia continued to extend the lead in the second half, outscoring Nanih Waiya 19-7 in the third and 14-2 in the fourth.
Morgan Mills and Angel Clemmons each had six points apiece to lead the Lady Warriors.
