The French Camp softball team dropped its only contest last week in a shortened contest against Noxapater.
French Camp dropped a 6-5 game to Noxapater in division play on Thursday in a five-inning game.
French Camp was scheduled to play Vardaman on Monday and then play at Nanih Waiya on Thursday.
Noxapater 6, French Camp 5
The Lady Tigers used a pair of big innings and took a one-run win over the Lady Tigers in a five-inning contest on Thursday.
French Camp scored two in the top of the first while Noxapater answered with two in the third and four in the fourth to take a 6-2 lead. French Camp then scored five in the fifth to cut the margin to 6-5 before the game was called because of rain after five innings.
French Camp outhit Noxapater 7-6 in the contest. Julia Littlejohn was 2-for-3 and scored two runs while Baylee Henderson was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBIs. Brianna Page doubled while Bailey Collins and Riley Arrowood each singled and drove in a run.
Anna Summers pitched 4 1/3 innings and gave up six runs on six hits and seven walks while striking out six.
