Last week, the Chargers and Lady Chargers took on the Winona Tigers, the Noxapater Tigers at the Cobb The Chargers brought out the broom and took a clean sweep of the week taking wins from Winona and Noxapater.

The Chargers and Lady Chargers were back in action at the Cobb in a thrilling match between the Chargers and the Winona Tigers, on Tuesday night.
In a battle against the Tigers, Destinee Love led the Chargers with 18 points. Although, the Tigers put up a good fight, the fast-paced Lady Chargers fought harder. And, it was the Lady Chargers that were victorious in the battle.

The battle with the Chargers and the Tigers was nothing short of that – a battle. But, it was the Chargers that emerged victorious.
Sophomore Caleb Cunningham led the Chargers with 24 points, eight rebounds, three steals and one block. Followed by Junior Calvin Roberts with 19 points, nine rebounds, one steal and two blocks. Freshman KJ Cork has eight points and one steal. Juniors Jalon James, Jakarius Weaver and Treyvionne Woodard each had two points, and Junior Zabaius Miller had a field goal.
Friday, the Chargers took on the Noxapater Tigers at the Cobb. And the battle between the Chargers and the Tigers was one for the books. And, if you weren’t there you missed a good shoot-out between the two talented teams.

Thursday, the Chargers narrowly defeated the Noxapater Lady Tigers by eight points in a back-and-forth battle between the two that kept attendees on the edge of their seats until the final buzzer.
And it was a great night for Senior Destinee Love who had a career high of 36 points against the Noxapater Tigers and an equally great game for Sophomore Jaraya Woodard who was hot all night shooting five three-pointers against the Tigers.

The Chargers took off and ran away from the Noxapater Tigers defeating them 72 to 45. As the old saying goes, if you live by the three, you die by the three and the Chargers made sure they survived. They put their foot on the neck of the Noxapater Tigers and they never let up.
Treyvionne Woodard, Cole Hood, Jalon James and Calvin Roberts all had three-pointers with Woodard leading with three, Hood and James both shot two and Roberts added one for a total of 16 of the Chargers 72 points.
